Medal Collection: World War One and World War Two Medals

A collection of British medals and some medals awarded by foreign governments to British servicemen.

Most of the medals are attributed to individuals, some are displayed with photographs.

A small number of other medals are included, eg. German Iron Cross and British Boer War medals.
Cap Badge Collection: British Army Regiments

A collection of cap badges of British army regiments, many of whom no longer exist or are amalgamated.

Some of the items in the collection are thought to be 're-strikes'.
Patch Badge Collection: Formation Insignia

A collection of fabric badges of British Army formation insignia, known as 'patch badges'.

Also included are a few badges from foreign services, such as the US 505th Parachute Regiment, and the German Afrikakorps Ärmelstreifen or cuff title.
Letters Home Collection

Original hand-written letters send from wartime postings abroad. Includes an enlarged copy of each letter, plus a transcription and some context information.
