The Winter Season
During the period when the Carillon is closed, from 1 October until it reopens again on Easter Sunday, there will normally be a recital on the first Thursday of each month, commencing at 1.00pm.
Carols at the Carillon
Each year on Christmas Eve, Carillonneur Caroline Shape is joined by a choir of local choristers for a carol concert in Queen's Park, celebrating the season with some of the nation's favourite carols.
Plans for the 2017 concert will be confirmed later in the year.
Each year a number of Guest Carillonneurs give recitals at the Loughborough's Carillon, with a special Carillon Festival held in early summer.
The 2017 festival will be held between Wednesday 19 July and Sunday 23rd July. Daily recitals of carillon music will be given at 1.00 pm, performed by Caroline Sharpe, or by guest carillonneurs Trevor Workman (Bournville Carillonneur) on Thursday 20th July, and Ian Cassells (City Carillonneur, Perth) on Friday 21st.
