YES, WE ARE OPEN!
We’re delighted to announce that the new Carillon Museum is now open. On the morning of 22nd August we welcomed Loughborough’s Mayor Mr. David Northage and Lady Mayoress Mrs. Jenny Northage to declare the Museum open.
Councillors Jenni Tillotson and Anne Gray, Rhod, John and Louise from Vertigo Creative, Charnwood Borough Council Head of Contracts Matt Bradford, Lewis from CBC’s comms team, Carillon volunteers and friends also attended the short opening ceremony. It was pleasing that several park visitors wandered in and took the opportunity to see what the new museum is all about. There were very favourable comments all round.
Mayor Northage was certainly impressed and said: “Fabulous! Terrific! You should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved.”
Come and visit! Opening hours from Wednesday August 27th to Saturday September 27th are:
· Wednesdays 11 am to 4 pm
· Thursdays 11 am to 4 pm (closed between 12.45 and 2 pm for Carillon recital)
· Fridays 11 am to 4 pm
· Saturdays 11 am to 4 pm
